MY NATURE SPOT

MY NATURE SPOT

I live near campus, about two blocks away, so there is not an abundance of natural scenery nearby. There is a small park caddy corner to my house with a creek and a picnic table. I walked over after class this week to check it out through the lens of using it as my "spot" for this course. It is dirty and littered, but also has some really nice trees and other plants. I'm hoping spending time there will make me more aware of other hidden nature spots in my day to day life and inspire me to take better care of the natural areas I frequent.

  1. Thanks for posting. What matters most is not so much the location but being able to feel comfortable there and observing what's around you for a period of time and at several different time. It's an exercise in observation.
